I was recently able to attend America I AM: The African American Imprint during it’s Atlanta run. This exhibit was truly moving and inspiring. Currently, it is showing in Los Angeles at the California Science Center and would be great to visit during black history month. Check out Blair Underwood’s experience at the Los Angeles exhibit.

America I AM; The African American Imprint, presented by Tavis Smiley, celebrates nearly 500 years of African American contributions to the United States. Visitors of the exhibition will have the opportunity to witness more than 200 rare historic objects, documents, photos and multimedia that explore how African Americans have helped shape this country. The exhibition is now open at the California Science Center in Los Angeles.
